The petition passed 150k signatures earlier today, and the new goal is 200k.
For folks who aren’t up-to-date on this whole debacle, Warner Bros. studio essentially took advantage of Zack Snyder stepping down from his mostly completed film to mourn the death of his daughter to completely gut, overhaul, and reshoot it into something they thought would make bank by aping the Marvel formula. They butchered a movie he’d been trying to make for years to win mass appeal, and it didn’t even come close to working. The petition isn’t just about giving the loyal fanbase what it wants; it’s more about justice for a man who deserved much better, the least of which is letting the world see his true vision for the movie.
There’s a ton of other drama and truly deplorable tactics involved, but that’s the basis of it. Please help out with a signature or signal boost if you can.

I think all of these people crying, desperately that “The Zack Snyder Cut doesn’t exist!!” are missing a point. And I think some of the people fighting for the cut to get released are also missing the same point.
And that is… the Zack Snyder Cut doesn’t technically exist.
Not yet.
The tragedy that befell Zack and his family happened around the end of Zack’s shooting. They stated many times that they only needed to finish VFX, a couple of dialogue and continuity reshoots etc. And we know that there is more than enough of Zack’s footage to edit together a director’s cut.
I do not believe that there is a finalised cut of the movie sitting around somewhere, because that version was never edited together and polished off.
But!
1. The footage exists.
2. Junkie’s early score exists.
3. The BvS and MoS scores exist.
4. A theatrical cut exists.
5. Vfx software exists.
6. Editing software exists.
So a Snyder Cut can exist.
We need to stop talking about this cut so literally. It is highly unlikely that an edited final cut of Zack’s movie exists, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t exist.
And if the Donner cut of Superman II can exist, and George Lucas can edit and re-edit the original Star Wars trilogy into fucking oblivion, then this cut can feasibly happen. However, we need to convince Warner to put the budget into it.
Failing that, fuckin give me the footage and I’ll edit the damn thing together. I’m pretty nifty with editing software, and I’ll do it for free.
